Description: "POLIFONIE URBANE" is a choral singing workshop aimed at non-professional singers of all ages and designed for anyone with musicality, a sense of rhythm, vocal creativity, and a performative attitude. We will sing, listen to music, and watch videos, trying to delve into a score as if it were a road map: polyphonic vocal writing is the result of the intersection between horizontal and vertical dimensions, single sound and simultaneous sounds, just as a grid of streets results from perpendicular and parallel lines. How can the abstract and the real meet in this performative musical practice of centuries-old tradition?
