Place: IC Regina Margherita, Rome; IC Casalotti 259, Rome
Teaching mode: Long-term extracurricular project.
Description: Piccolo Coro is a group of young singers from the Regina Margherita/Badini institute in Trastevere, Rome, led by Maestro Francesco Leineri. It is linked to the homonymous choral singing workshop for children, active in the school since 2022, created by the teacher with the support of Roma Capitale. The choir welcomes any child without any prerequisite of musical education: a true small community of children who cultivate imagination, creativity, and their musical sense in a co-creation project with the teacher. The choir has already performed in cultural events in the city, including Streets for Kids 2023, the Brancaccio Theater, and Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone in Rome.
