Original arrangements from the Italian 60s hits

Concept: L’ESSENZIALE is a unique reinterpretation of Italian song classics spanning from the 1950s to the 1970s. Irony, cynicism, and fierce tenderness on the borders of the great Italian vocal tradition, imagining what it would have been like if the latter had survived into the contemporary era within the experimental research of the cultivated music environment. The string trio - emblematic of classical music exploration and at the same time of the melancholic strains of old Italian songs - is certainly capable of consciously breaking free from traditions. Hence L'ESSENZIALE: to gather the essence of old Italian songs and decontextualize them in a bewildering environment such as the avant-garde, in a true nostalgic "chamber" concert for broken hearts, approached with the lightness of play.
