Synopsis: Inspired by the real life of Florence Foster Jenkins, the comedy tells the story of the wealthy lady from New York high society, who was the driving force behind a circle of opera lovers. In 1944, she performs at Carnegie Hall, the most prestigious classical concert venue in New York. The concert was so eagerly awaited that tickets sold out weeks in advance. Florence was famous for her complete lack of singing talent: she had no sense of rhythm and produced utterly bizarre intonations. With the concert at Carnegie Hall, her "talent" becomes public knowledge: what will happen?
